A NEW restaurant is set to bring a dash of Brazilian vibrance to Sheffield when it opens in Leopold Square in the city centre.

Tropeiro, which opens on Friday at the former Bar and Grill, has created 21 new jobs.

Diners will be able to sample flame-grilled meats cooked on an open fire by Tropeiro’s Gaucho chefs before being carved at the tableside.

Tropeiro director, Nei Borgert, said: “I feel that this city is a great place to launch our restaurant, and I look forward to spending a lot of time here.”
