Brave Sheffield homeowner captures burglar stealing from his home
A brave Sheffield resident detained a burglar after catching him inside his property.
Sheffield South West Local Policing Team said they were able to arrest and charge the man on Friday after he was detained inside a house on Brincliffe Edge Road in Nether Edge by the occupier.
Police are yet to confirm details about the man who has been charged with the burglary offence or when he will appear in court.
