SHEFFIELD boxer Ryan Rhodes swapped his gloves for a pair of scissors as he helped to cut the ribbon at the opening of a new gym.
The fighter was special guest at the launch of the new Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing Centre, on Napier Street.
He performed the opening with the gym’s first member, Norma Almond, watched by general manager, John McGuiness.
Mr McGuiness said: “We’re delighted Ryan helped to launch our centre alongside our longest standing member Norma Almond, who is a regular at our centre despite suffering a heavy stroke a few years ago.”
The new gym offers a range of fitness equipment, swimming pools, a sauna and steam room, plus ‘expert-trained wellbeing advisors’ and physiotherapists.
