Boundary changes

It's clear from talking to people on the doorstep that many people don't know about the council ward boundary changes that come into effect for the May 5 elections.

That’s unfortunate as these are important elections with all councillors having to stand for re-election. Everyone will have three votes to elect three local councillors and it’s effectively four years’ council elections rolled into one.

With all 84 seats being contested, I hope large numbers of Sheffield people will vote, so that the future council has a feel for the views of local people. You can look at the new wards down to individual street level on the Boundary Commission website via https://consultation.lgbce.org.uk/node/2946
