Boris Johnson issues six new lockdown rules ahead of speech to nation tonight
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has issued a new set of lockdown rules ahead of his speech to the nation tonight.
The Prime Minister tweeted: “Everyone has a role to play in helping to control the virus by staying alert and following the rules.
“This is how we can continue to save lives as we start to recover from coronavirus. #StayAlert.”

“We can all help control the virus if we stay alert.
“Stay at home as much as possible, work from home if you can, limit contact with other people, keep your distance if you go out (two metres apart if possible) wash your hands regularly.”
“And if you or anyone in your household has symptoms, you all need to self isolate.”
It also confirms the Government’s new “Stay alert, control the virus, save lives message.”
He will address the nation at 7pm tonight.
