Bordering on stupidity
A letter from the council that I received in March about connecting up street lights stated : 'It is our aim to provide information within seven days and a full reply within 28 days. 'Unfortunately, this has not been possible as your enquiry is more complex and requires an in-depth investigation.
It is now 103 days after 25 phone calls and a visit to the Town Hall, where you cannot speak to anyone face to face.
This is an open invitation to visit me at home to sort this out, because this is now bordering on stupidity.
It will take me one minute to show you what’s wrong.
Up to now it has taken the council 148,320 minutes.
