Blow for Sheedy as injury forces Butler bout to be postponed
Sheedy and Butler were due to meet at Rotherham’s Magna Centre on February 6, with the rescheduled bout pencilled in for April.
The Magna card still features Waleed Din, the Steel City fighter who suffered his first defeat last time out in October.

“The Butler camp has taken it very well because it’s just one of those things. We’re rescheduling for April 2, also at the Magna Centre, and it’s not like we’re pulling out because we don’t want the fight.
“Sam will be okay in a few weeks, but we ran out of time for him to get ready for this upcoming show. I’m disappointed because it’s an absolutely cracking fight, but it just means we’ll be seeing it a few weeks later.”
The injury further delays a much-anticipated rematch between Sheedy and Rotherham’s Nav Mansouri.

Mansouri takes on Welshman Liam Williams in Liverpool next month.
