Blind lady who began to scream

When I first needed the Care4You service, it was wonderful and it continued fine until the end of 2007.

After that, instead of two carers based in the same location as patients, they began changing every few weeks criss-crossing Sheffield, wasting time and money, unable to reach patients in poor weather and unable to find their way round new patients’ homes.

Some carers are upset at the changes and patients are stressed. When one carer told her patient she was moving to care for someone else the lady, who is blind and in her 90s, began to scream and her husband to sob.

Scenes like this will be happening all over the city.

I’ve had over 200 carers!
