Blades legends Brian Deane and Tony Agana will launch the first of a series of '˜An Evening With...' events at Bramall Lane featuring sports stars and personalities.

Promotions and the Premier League’s first-ever goal are expected to be amongst the memories and stories the strike duo will share.

They played for Sheffield United during the late 80s and early 90s, with Deane, who won three England caps, scoring the first ever goal in the FA Premier League in 1992.

Agana and Deane formed a partnership during the 1989–90 season which helped United win two back-to-back promotions.

Sheffield United’s Head of Commercial, Paul Reeves, said: “Brian and Tony were one of the club’s greatest strike partnerships.

“We are delighted they will kick-off this series of themed events planned for 2016 at Bramall Lane.”

The event will be held in the club’s Platinum Suite on Friday, February 26, with doors opening at 7.30pm and pie and peas being served at 8pm.

Brian and Tony will take to the stage at 9pm.
