A group of teenagers from Sheffield and Rotherham are to be taken on a tour of the Houses of Parliament by the Bishop of Sheffield.

Rt Rev Steven Croft is one of three vice presidents of the YMCA White Rose youth work charity, of which the youngsters are members.

The bishop, who sits in the House of Lords, will talk about how parliament works, his role and how his Christian faith impacts what he does.

He said: “I hope that it will encourage the young people to engage further with the political process.”
