Police are appealing for information into the shooting of binman David Dannatt, who was hit in the back by shots from a pellet gun while collecting rubbish in Wincobank.

South Yorkshire Police want to speak to anyone with information about the attack on Mr Dannatt, who was emptying bins into a refuse lorry on Standon Road last Friday at about 9am. He was left with three bleeding wounds, and says he was lucky to escape serious injury.
