A PROCESSION of big-hearted motorbikers will drive through Sheffield to raise cash for poorly children.

Superbike star James Toseland, of Doncaster, is to lead the Easter Sunday parade for The Children’s Hospital Charity.

He will then visit patients and families at the hospital to give out Easter eggs.

James, who has been supporting the charity for many years, said: “The Children’s Hospital is a very special place and the staff do incredible work, so it’s always an absolute pleasure to support this event each year.

“The motorcyclists who come along are always so generous and supportive and I am always touched by the strength and courage of the patients and their families at the hospital – it’s a really humbling experience. “

The annual Easter Egg Run is organised by the Three Shires Honda Owners Club with support from South Yorkshire Police.

Last year more than 500 riders took part in – raising more than £3,000.
