Bikers' lighting up time at Blackpool

SOUTH Yorkshire bikers brought extra sparkle to the switch-on of Blackpool's famous illuminations.

They took part in a spectacular Honda Goldwing Light Parade - providing a colourful moving display of illuminated motorbikes.

Among the riders were husband and wife Derrick and Joyce Ayrton, of Moorbank Close, Wombwell, Barnsley, whose Honda Goldwing GL1500 was named one of the best in show alongside a tangerine-coloured GL1800 owned by Neil Crofts from Rotherham.
