Biker broke both legs in smash

A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with serious head injuries and two broken legs following a road smash in Sheffield.

The collision happened on Crowder Road, Longley, at 6.30pm on Wednesday.

Police said the victim, aged 37, was riding a motorbike along Crowder Road towards Longley Lane when he lost control and hit a black Fiat Punto car parked at the side of the road.

Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or the driving leading up to it.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident 1,085 of July 25.
