A GROUP of cyclists are riding the length of the country in five days to raise funds for Sheffield-based charity Fable - For a Better Life with Epilepsy.

Irwin Mitchell solicitors are sponsoring members of Stocksbridge Cycle Club £2,000 to take on the 407-mile endurance challenge, which will visit six of its offices en route, starting in Newcastle, to mark National Epilepsy Week.

Celebrity patron Barbara Windsor will greet the riders at the firm’s central London office on Friday and they were due to ride through Sheffield on their way to the capital today.

David Urpeth, from Irwin Mitchell, said: “We are proud to be supporting such a challenging fundraiser for a worthwhile charity like Fable.”
