Runners of all ages took part in the annual Big Fun Run event at Rother Valley Country Park.
Dozens of participants walked, jogged and ran the 5km course in aid of a variety of charities.
The dress code was fun so some runners donned bright fancy dress costumes to take part, while others opted for more traditional running gear.
Babies and toddlers in prams were also pushed around the course along with four-legged participants.
The annual event is one of more than a dozen taking place all over the country and is aimed at all members of the family with a focus on fun and charity fundraising.
The scenic course incorporated a lap of both the north and south lake.
A Big Fun Run spokesman said: “Hats off to everyone who took part in Big Fun Run in Sheffield this weekend.
“It really was a treat to see everyone take part for so many worthwhile charities.”
All those who took part received a bottle of water, a goody bag and a well deserved medal.
Participants raised money for a number of affiliated charities.
