Bids for Tata Steel to be submitted today
Bidders interested in buying Tata Steel have to submit their proposals today.
It is understood that seven bidders have expressed an interest in the firm, which has a plant at Stocksbrige and two in Rotherham.
Indian firm Tata put its UK steel assets up for sale earlier this year, putting around 11,000 jobs at risk.
Business Secretary Sajid Javid is due to travel to Mumbai this week ahead of Tata Steel board meeting, where the sale of the UK business is expected to be discussed.
