BBC Music day is a hit in Sheffield

Bands, singers and performers united yesterday to fill Sheffield with the sound of music.

As part of the second annual BBC Music Day, locations throughout the city centre became impromptu stages for performers.

Highlights included the Everly Pregnant Brothers in the Peace Gardens and an acoustic Reverend Jon McClure in the Winter Garden.
