BBC films Songs of Praise in Barnsley

The BBC has visited South Yorkshire to film an upcoming episode of Songs of Praise.

A TV crew was in Barnsley to film an episode of the show, which will be aired on Sunday at 6pm.

The episode focuses on Chinese Christianity and coincides with Chinese New Year. It features the story of James Hudson Taylor, who was born in Barnsley in 1830 and is highly regarded by millions of Chinese Christians throughout the world as the founder of the China Inland Mission.
