Bassetlaw: Charitable women hand over generous cheque to Bassetlaw Hospital

Two charitable women recently handed over a generous cheque for thousands of pounds to the breast cancer unit at Bassetlaw Hospital.

Anita Glasby and Sue Withers hosted a charity Ladies Luncheon on 20th November at The Crown Hotel, Bawtry, in aid of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals.

The luncheon, which was attended by 120 women. included entertainment by electronic violinist, Alexandra Parker and a fashion show hosted by Incognito of Bawtry.

Anita said: “The event was a huge success and raised £3525 towards the purchase of a ‘bodyjet’ machine for Bassetlaw Hospital.”
