Barnsley museum talk to dig into pit closures

Have your say

A fascinating talk at Experience Barnsley on June 12 will dig deeper into the museum’s Lancashire Women Against Pit Closures collection.

The exhibition, from the Working Class Movement Library, includes material which shows the twenty months of LWAPC’s struggle, including minutes, accounts, correspondence, press cuttings and publicity material.

The free event, which will be held in the Learning Lab from 6.30pm, is part of a programme to mark the miners’ strike thirty year anniversary.
