Barnsley Council to spend £10,000 in park
Barnsley Council is to spend £10,000 on the installation of an access ramp and motor bike barrier at Smithies Lane Recreational Ground.
The improvements will open up access to the park for residents and visitors who use wheelchairs and mobility scooters, and prevent nuisance and noise caused by the illegal use of motor bike owners.
