A salon brand with shops in Barnsley and Leeds is a cut above the rest after scooping a prestigious national award.
Staff at Russell Eaton salons celebrated after taking home the Creative Salon of the Year Award at the Salon Business Awards 2016.
The team’s work with colour and light, using bespoke techniques developed by creative director Robert Eaton wowed the judges and secured the top prize.
Robert has a number of previous awards under his belt including winning the renowned national L’Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy twice.
The company, formed in 1978, was also a runner-up in several other categories at the ceremony, held at Madison rooftop bar in London on Monday, July 4.
Salon owner Russell Eaton and his wife, Karen, who also works within the business, donned their best outfits and attended the event.
Mr Eaton paid tribute to staff for the award win.
He added: “We are absolutely thrilled to win this award.
“I’m incredibly proud of the Russell Eaton team and it’s wonderful to really showcase the skill and talent that they have.
Awards presenter Jo Charlton, publishing editor of event organisers Salon Business, congratulated all of the winners and added: “There were some incredible entries to choose from, but after hours of deliberation our judges decided on the deserving winners across our 12 categories.”
Once all the winners were named, DJ and saxophonist Brendan Mills hit the decks.
Guests were invited to enjoy a bite size range of fish and chips, braised beef and button masala.
