A JAIL sentence hangs over a Sheffield graduate who defied a driving ban.
The offence cost Kevin Owusu his job and he is now on the dole after police clocked his Seat Ibiza travelling at 93mph on a stretch of the M1 in north Derbyshire in May.
The biomedical sciences graduate was stopped, and inquiries revealed he had been disqualified a month earlier for drink-driving.
The 27-year-old, of Bailey Street, Sheffield city centre, admitted speeding and driving while disqualified and without insurance.
He was given a 12-week jail term, suspended for a year, and ordered to do 120 hours’ unpaid work, with £85 costs.
