A team of banking staff from Sheffield raised £1,800 for St Luke’s Hospice by taking part in an evening sponsored walk.

The fundraisers, from Lloyds Banking Group’s Mortgaging Services based in Furnival Gate, were among 1,000 walkers who took part in the Night Strider event.

They took part in memory of former St Luke’s patient, Darren Sanderson, whose wife Clare works in the mortgaging services team.

It costs £5 million a year to run the hospice.
