SMILE! Pupils at a Sheffield school are snap happy after receiving a £500 donation for photographic equipment from a local charity.

Heritage Park Community School’s after school photography club received the cash from the Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank Foundation.

The club at the school in Norfolk Park Road is designed for pupils and parents who do not have access to equipment or funds but for whom photography is important as a means of communication, raising self-esteem and documenting their lives.

The foundation, established in 2008, aims to support a range of organisations, backing charities that are engaged in work to support arts, education or communities in the areas in which the bank operates, as well as a variety of youth projects.
