Balloon event for hospice

FAMILIES can remember loved ones they have lost while raising money for a vital children's charity in South Yorkshire.

A mass balloon release will be staged in Penistone on Thursday, August 23, to raise funds for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

People are being asked to release a balloon in memory of a loved one and dedications can be made in a book in Penistone library. Balloons cost 2 and will be available on the day from 9.30am to 3pm at a stall outside Cherrydale Restaurant on the High Street.
