Back in the swim at Dome

The swimming pool at Doncaster Dome, which is run by Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust, has reopened after a four-week closure for routine maintenance.

Michael Hart, chief executive of DCLT, said: “We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience the temporary closure of the swimming pool has caused and we have been looking forward to inviting people back into the water this week.

“There has been a slight delay in reopening due to the essential maintenance work which has taken place and we hope that swimmers will enjoy a more pleasurable experience at the Dome.”

The eight swimming pools at DCLT’s other leisure venues across the borough remained open, including St James Leisure Centre and Armthorpe Leisure Centre.
