A DISABILITY charity has received a £7,000 grant to develop its therapy garden in a South Yorkshire village.

Beanstalk Gardens in Fence, near Swallownest, Rotherham, has received £6,948 from the People’s Postcode Trust.

The gardens are used by Autism Plus to allow disabled people to learn about nature.

Horticultural manager Zoe Cartwright said: “This gives us the opportunity to enhance their experiences of outdoor activities and wildlife.”
