Ghost of a clue somewhere ..

WHO you going to call - Ghostbusters?

No, get Club Zero on the blower instead.

Around 10 members of the club will be spending Saturday night in the Old Queen’s Head, Pond Street, with a truckload of hi-tech ghost-recording equipment.

But of all the haunted places in all the world, why did the Stockport based club choose that particular venue?

Righto then.

Back to life

REMEMBER Bonapartes in Arundel Gate? Well it’s back with a new name, Penelopes

Congratulations to those behind the venture, which is breathing new life into one of Sheffield’s most unsightly concrete carbuncles.

The former Casino has been transformed into a 250-capacity night club which opens on Friday October 28 with Chris Low Life, Ian Cracknell and special guest DJ's.

Hayley’s goal

HAYLEY Roach throws a going-away party tomorrow night and it should be a ball - a football.

Hayley, who does PR for the Sheffield and Hallam-shire FA, is off to South Africa to work with SCORE, a charity which aims to use football to train and educate young people, particularly girls, about AIDS.

She will take football coaching clinics for six weeks. And the going-away party, at the Last Laugh Comedy Club ,will help raise funds for the project.

Tickets are priced at 10 each log onto www.sheff-ieldcityhall.co.uk for further details.
