Artist and young people create mural in Barnsley town centre
An artist worked with young people to create a mural on structures earmarked for demolition as part of the Better Barnsley redevelopment scheme in the town centre.
David Cross, whose work includes the iconic Lost Boys and Ghostbusters artwork on the former Bush Inn at Kingstone, designed and painted a large scale outdoor mural on the corner of Kendray Street and Eldon Street on the former Munjacks unit.
Matt Gladstone, from Barnsley Council, said: “This will help to engage young people in the exciting work that is happening.”
