Artisan food and drink market to be held at Meadowhall

An artisan food and drink market is to be held at Meadowhall Shopping Centre over the Easter weekend.

From Thursday, March 24 to Saturday, March 26, regional producers will showcase everything from chutneys to ciders, wagyu beef, smoked salmon and venison, to cakes and hand-made chocolate.

There will also be live cookery demonstrations throughout the weekend.

Meadowhall Centre Director, Darren Pearce, said: “Meadowhall is passionate about offering customers something different but we are also committed to providing more than just a retail experience.

“For more than 25 years, Meadowhall has been part of the Sheffield community and we’re always keen to get involved with projects that champion local and regional producers.

“The bespoke stalls will allow shoppers to see and sample first-hand the very best Yorkshire has to offer, whilst the chefs in our pop up cookery theatre will be demonstrating how to make your own culinary creations when you’re back home.”

The market will be based on Park Lane, between House of Fraser and Debenhams.
