Arsonists target lorry and garage in Sheffield

Yobs set fire to a garage in White Thorns View, Batemoor, at 2.20am.

There was also a car inside which went up in flames.

Firefighters from Sheffield Central and Lowedges stations spent over an hour at the scene.

Sheffield Central firefighters were then called to reports of a lorry fire in Woodside Lane, Pitsmoor, at 3.45am.

They spent 90 minutes extinguishing the blaze.

Elsewhere, arsonists set fire to a small vehicle in Montagu Street, Cudworth, at 12.20am.

Barnsley Central firefighters dealt with the incident.
