Arsonists hunted over blazes across South Yorkshire

Arsonists wreaked havoc in South Yorkshire by starting fires across the county.

A Land Rover found burning in Dore Road, Dore, Sheffield, was deliberately set alight at around 3.30am yesterday.

Firefighters dealt with the blaze.

They were also called out to a portable toilet set on fire in Psalters Lane, Holmes.

An outbuilding was torched in Co-operative Street, Goldthorpe; Barnsley; a Mercedes was set on fire in Blyth Road, Maltby, Rotherham and two wheelie wins were fired in Nuttall Place, Wybourn, Sheffield.

Firefighters also dealt with a Vauxhall Astra torched in Prince Street, Swinton, Rotherham.
