The driver of the Vauxhall Zafira, a 35-year-old man, was injured in the crash but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

UPDATE: Both men who fled the Audi have now been arrested, one of them on suspicion of failing to stop.

An earlier version said the Vauxhall was a Mercedes, but South Yorkshire Police updated their information to a Vauxhall instead.
