Arrest after man stabbed in Shiregreen, Sheffield
A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed on a Sheffield estate.
Police were called to Hartley Brook Road in Shiregreen this morning (Saturday, June 11) to reports that a man had been stabbed. A wounded 37-year-old man was discovered and taken to hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the incident.
An area of Hartley Brook Road was cordoned off while police carried out enquiries but officers left the scene at about midday.
Witnesses should call police on 101 quoting incident 239 of June 11.
