Around 160 South Yorkshire properties hit by power cut this morning
Around 160 homes and businesses have been hit by a power cut in South Yorkshire this morning.
The lights went out on 140 properties in Kimberworth Park, Rotherham, at 9am and it is expected to be off until about 1pm.
About 20 homes in nearby Morthen were also affected by a power outage at 10.30am and the Northern Powergrid said they would have the electric back on by noon.
