GOLDTHORPE Neighbour-hood Watch member George Tomlinson has got himself a personal alarm as part of the new scheme to provide local people with cut price personal and home security equipment.
Security Connects, a non-profit initiative funded by South Yorkshire Police and promoted by the Safer Communities Partnership, is selling the equipment at the Barnsley Connects centre in Goldthorpe.
Callers can get their hands on door scopes, window locks, handbag alarms, door chains and shed alarms.
