GRANTS are being handed out to South Yorkshire projects by the Health Lottery.
Amounts totalling £190,000 have already been given out to projects which focus on improving people’s health and wellbeing across the county.
Projects funded to date include caring for those with learning disabilities, getting young people into exercise and sporting activities and helping older people to adopt more healthy outdoor lifestyles.
Another round of grants is to be made available soon.
