VOLUNTEERS who want to give up some time and enjoy themselves are urged to join in with a South Yorkshire scouting group.
Disabled Marie Wroe has been running the Scouts, Cubs and Beavers groups in South Anston single-handedly for more than two years.
She is making the effort despite struggling with injuries which were caused by a car crash in 2006.
But Marie is now desperately appealing for volunteers to come forward.
She said people wanting to help can give as little as two hours a fortnight to help run the group’s activities for children and young people.
■ Anyone who wants to help the group should contact Marie by calling her on 01909 565471.
