WILDLIFE lovers across South Yorkshire are urged to count the species in their garden or community park this summer.
The RSPB is asking people to take part in the Make Your Nature Count survey from June 2 to 10. Leaders hope to find data on birds, hedgehogs, squirrels, deer and for the first time ever, slow-worms.
The scheme helps the RSPB understand what is happening in gardens so they can act by directing their efforts where needed. For details, call 0300 456 8330.
