Appeal launched to find missing Sheffield woman

Police have ‘increasing concerns’ after a 35-year-old Sheffield woman went missing yesterday (Thursday).

Lindsey Howson left her home in Gleadless at about 1.30pm to attend an appointment in the city centre.

Staff confirmed that Lindsey did attend her appointment, and left the Sydney Street premises at about 2.30pm, but she has not been seen or heard from since.

Officers and Lindsey’s family are becoming increasingly concerned about her wellbeing and are seeking help from the public to try to find her.

Lindsey is about 5ft 8, of slim build with long blonde hair and has a number of tattoos on her left and right arms. She also wears a nose ring and has a stud on her chin.

She was last seen wearing denim-style leggings, a black halter neck top with white on it, a long grey cardigan and high-heeled ankle boots. She was carrying a black handbag with a flower on it.

Lindsey is known to regularly visit the city centre and has connections in the Woodhouse area of Sheffield.
