This blind cat is hoping to be reunited with its owner after she received emergency treatment following an accident in Sheffield.

The very cute, elderly black cat was picked up on Maltravers Road, Wybourn, on Friday, January 16 after it had been injured in an incident.

The wide-eyed moggy with grey patches on her fur and long whiskers has a number of other ailments as well as being blind.

Julie Dudley, who volunteers for a group which helps pets get back to their owners or to find a new home, said: “A RSPCA officer took it to Peak Vets for emergency treatment and hopefully to reunite it with its owners.

“Myself and the vets have rung other vet surgeries as well as putting appeals all over but to no avail.

“She is someone’s pet as she has recently had blood tests done and now needs her loving home.

“If she is yours, or if you know whose pet this, is please contact the vets.”

At present, the cat is still being cared for at Peak Vets but Julie is hoping she can be reunited with its owner as soon as possible.

If you know who she belongs to, or if you are the owner, call Peak Vets on 0114 250 7733.

The surgery on Olivet Road, Woodseats, Sheffield, is open seven days a week and until 9pm from Monday to Friday.
