Two classic instruments worth more than £3,500 have been stolen from a parked car in Sheffield.

A Star reader got in touch to report the theft of two fiddles from a car parked in Malin Bridge.

The car was parked on Malin Road, near Hillsborough, on Sunday, May 1, when the break-in took place.

The thieves took two fiddles, one a distinctive Tim Philips model worth £3,500 on its own.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
