Appeal after man robs Sheffield bookmakers

A police appeal has been launched after a man robbed a Sheffield bookmakers this morning.

A man entered Ladbrokes bookmakers on Ridgeway Road, Gleadless Town End, and threatened staff, demanding money.

The man then fled the scene with some cash.

South Yorkshire Police said that no weapon was used during the incident, and nobody was injured.

The man is described as being about 5ft 6, wearing all black clothing with his hood pulled up and tied.
