The proposal is to demolish an extension to the rear, convert the main building to create nine apartments, build another block comprising two apartments, and put up two houses.

According to the planning application, the apartments and houses are of a more modern design than their surroundings, which largely fit with the main office block.

The application adds: “The site itself offers a unique opportunity to create a high-quality contemporary set of town houses.”
