IF THIS little lady could sing then she’d probably serenade you with something by Abba.

Mamma Mia is what Super-trouper Mia would sing if you had a home for her. That’s why she’s sending out an SOS which reads please Take A Chance on Me.

RSPCA Sheffield branch animal care manager Tony Benham said: “White and tan crossbreed Mia came to us in May and just like in the hit musical, she’s sending out invites to find the right match.

“The animals in our care have often been mistreated or neglected. In this case, Mia, who is three years and five months, hadn’t received the veterinary care she needed for her ears.

“She came to us with an ear infection and is currently finishing off a course of medication for it and this happy lady is now ready to take up a new, happy home.

“She’s full of beans, very affectionate and loves to play. Ideally, though, she will need a home where her new owner can teach her that there is also a time to calm down and relax.

“As she can be a bit giddy sometimes, she would also be better suited to a home with children over the age of 10.”

Tony said Mia gets on well with other dogs so a home with a canine companion is a possibility.

“She’d love an active home and a potential owner and an owner who would need to be willing to give her at least two 45-minute walks a day.

“If she is to be left alone for any periods, she will need a bit of crate training and a gradual build-up.”
