Animal centre's thanks to city
Thornberry Animal Sanctuary would like to thank the people of Sheffield after a recent collection on The Moor raised a staggering £1000 in one day.
A spokesman for the centre said: “Our days are long and sometimes very hard - lots of animals to care for and neglect and abuse to overcome. But it is all worthwhile when we see an animal placed into their new home and know for that animal we have made such a difference.
“We would like to thank the people of Sheffield for their generous contributions.”
