An allotment shed was torched in an arson attack in Sheffield this morning.

The fire, off Archer Road, Millhouses, was reported at 2.30am.

Firefighters spent around 90 minutes at the scene.

In the early hours of this morning firefighters also dealt with a Ford Focus set alight in Windsor Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley.

Last night rubbish was set on fire in Edderthorpe Lane, Darfield, Barnsley and firefighters dealt with a fire in the open off Little Common Lane, Kimberworth, Rotherham.
