EB Warris, sadly, your initial comments gave the impression that you believe educational ABILITY is the preserve of the more privileged.
Many factors certainly skew things in their favour but all things being equal, I think ‘estate kids’ would compete favourably.
I’m sure your comments were well meant but it might be, as Frank Carson regularly said, “the way yer tell ’em!”
